The SA Hunters Table Mountain Branch is committed to promoting ethical hunting, responsible firearm ownership, and practical conservation efforts throughout the Western Cape. Beyond the shooting range and competitive events, the branch plays an active role in protecting South Africa’s natural heritage through community-driven conservation initiatives.

Our conservation work focuses on habitat preservation, wildlife protection, environmental education, and practical field support. Members regularly participate in activities such as invasive species control, snare removal operations, anti-poaching awareness, and assisting conservation partners in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Through collaboration with local landowners, conservation organizations, and wildlife professionals, the branch helps ensure that sustainable conservation remains a priority for future generations.

We believe that responsible hunters are conservationists at heart. By investing time, resources, and skills into protecting wildlife and natural landscapes, SA Hunters Table Mountain Branch promotes a balanced approach where conservation, ethical hunting, and outdoor heritage work hand in hand.

The branch also hosts educational talks, field training, and awareness events that encourage members and the public to better understand wildlife management, biodiversity, and the importance of preserving South Africa’s unique ecosystems. From mountain reserves to rural farmlands, our members are proud to contribute toward practical conservation solutions that make a lasting impact.

We manage several conservation programs across the Cape. Some of our projects include:

-Trail Cameras placed on Paarl Mountain to monitor wildlife

-Seed harvest of indigenous plants and planting of scarce trees

-Snare removal patrols
