GENERAL
We have already had 7 shooting exercises this year, all of which has been well attended. The scores from these events have also been very high and our branch members dominate the top 20 on the national list in various categories. We can be proud of our members that keep Tafelberg’s shooting reputation high.
Vir diegende wat nog nie weet nie ons tak is vanjaar 20 jaar oud. Ons bestuurspan is besig om ‘n funksie te reel en sal ook die jaar hemde en pette maak om die aangeleentheid te vier. Besonderhede oor die pette en hemde sal binne die volgende maand aan lede gestuur word.
Safari & Outdoor borg die jaar weer ons streekskiete. Tydens die presisie skiet op 9 Maart by Bellville is daar reeds meer as R6000 se pryse en gelukkige trekkings uitgedeel. Ons dank gaan uit aan Safari & Outdoor.
Herbert Dudley unfortunately had to resign from the management of the branch due to personal circumstances. Herbert has been an active part of the branch management for over five years and will be missed on shooting weekends. Thank you very much for your years of dedication. Dewalt Theron has been appointed in Herbert’s place and we wish him all the best.
Een van ons doelwitte is om ons Weskaap streek te groei die jaar en om ander takke te ondersteun in hulle skietdae. Sover was daar van ons lede by al die streekskiete wat deur ander takke aangebied is die jaar. Ons wil graag baie dankie sê and ons lede wat die ander takke se skietdae bywoon. Ons het reeds van ander takke se lede by ons skietdae gehad en ons glo die ondersteuning sal nog beter raak voorentoe.

Any member who wishes to do their dedicated sport shooting or dedicated hunter course, can contact Deon Erasmus or Isabel Terblanche for further details. Both the courses are presented on an ad hoc basis.
We also plan to have a training day on 13 April 2024 before we start with the shooting exercise for the day.
