SAJWV – TAFELBERG: MAART NUUSBRIEF
GENERAL
Soos voorheen genoem is Tafelbergtak vanjaar 20 jaar oud. Ons is reeds besig om ‘n funksie te reel om die 20ste bestaansjaar te vier. Ons beplan die funksie voorlopig vir September en sal nader aan die tyd meer inligting daaroor gee.
We also plan to make a special shooting shirt for the 20-year celebrations and members will soon be able to order the shirts.
Our regional shoots are going great, and we have a lot of shots from our branch who will qualify for the national competition in Welkom during October this year. This weekend members will have another chance to qualify for the national competition when the 20m handgun competition at Bellville Pistol Club. Safari & Outdoor is sponsoring the competition again and more than R6000 worth of prizes and lucky draws are up for grabs.
Let ook dat ons in April ons eerste nagskiet gaan aanbied. Daar is slegs 20 plekke beskikbaar so registreer so gou as moontlik by Christoff. Ons gaan ook ‘n opleiding kurses aanbied voor ons skiet op 13 April waar ‘n paar skerpskutters in ons tak vir ons ‘n paar wenke gaan gee.

TRAINING / OPLEIDING
Any member who wishes to do their dedicated sport shooting or dedicated hunter course, can contact Deon Erasmus or Isabel Terblanche for further details. Both the courses are presented on an ad hoc basis.
We also plan to have a training day on 13 April 2024 before we start with the shooting exercise for the day.
